Venice Beach California is known and loved by many for its amazing weather, beaches and for its people. It is a district found in western Los Angeles and with all of its crazy day to day activity; it has been described as a free daily carnival. On the streets of Venice Beach, you’ll find artists, street performers, and plenty of people lapping up the unique atmosphere. It also attracts many visitors who enjoy the wonderful walking and cycling which is to be had in the area.
The name of the area is so because of its many canals, which makes it resemble Venice in Italy. The canal areas are actually now very upper class with prime spots of real estate. The original 16 miles of canal were built in 1904 and the big opening of Venice of America was in 1905. Few of the original canals remain today because the project was started in the days of horse and carriage. Soon after, the days of automobile entered for which the canals served little purpose. Golden Gate Bridge
The Golden Gate Bridge is absolutely one of the most famous, if not the most famous, landmarks of California. Its buddies in that top ranking would be the Hollywood sign, the Hollywood stars and the fabulous beaches made famous by such TV programs as Baywatch and Laguna Beach. Within San Francisco itself, the Golden Gate Bridge is probably the biggest attraction.
The bridge takes its name from the strait over which it crosses, The Golden Gate Strait, which connects the San Francisco bay to the Pacific Ocean. The bridge is a suspension bridge, one which had the longest suspension bridge span in the world when it was completed in 1937. It no longer holds that title, being shorter than the Tsing Ma Bridge in China, the Great Belt Bridge in Denmark and the Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge in Japan, to name but a few bridges which are longer. Well, they are all in the “film” business, or at least some of them are in the film business, was a comment made by Leon Levy the CEO of one of the leaders in the window tinting window film industry at a recent “Going Green Conference” in South Africa.
Kodak missed the boat when it comes to the digital world of taking pictures and the cell phone industry with it’s built in camera put the final nail in the coffin and the rest is history. “Kodak gone belly up”!
Well if the manufacturers of window tint and window film in the USA don’t “catch a wake” up the Koreans, who by the way, make products such as Samsung, LG, Kia ,Hyundai, to name but a few, will soon have a window film on the market for office windows ,home windows and car windows that once fixed to glass will change, depending on the amount of sunlight going through, from a highly reflective to a clear vision surface giving windows the best of both worlds .
